I am a researcher, program director, educator and fund raiser with 30 years developing and sustaining social and environmental sustainability programs. I am skilled in Environmental Sustainability, Fundraising, Organizational Governance and Finances, Environmental Impact Assessment, Evaluation, Nature-Based Solutions, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Sustainability Science and Community Engagement: I am a scientist interested in innovative solutions to environmental challenges at scale with a focus on improving the health of communities and environment. A highly collaborative leader, I value partnerships to develop strategies and pathways connecting the local and global. I help to research, design and map the interrelationships between the social and economic relationships of communities within their environment. I design participatory research and learning experiences for community members and students. I value serving vulnerable communities - both rural and urban.

Fundraising: I have over 30 years experience fund raising to secure programmatic funding to support and fund programming of science and community engagement programs - including major gifts, philanthropic grants from foundations, and contracts from corporations. I am adept at identifying, assessing and engaging donor prospects. I have developed and maintain strong relationships with existing and new donors to renew and secure new sources of support for key programs. I am a strong communicator with extensive experience writing proposals and reports and am comfortable with public speaking.

Organizational Leadership: I have a proven record in developing organizational priorities working across country offices, senior management, and board members on both short- and long-term strategies and priority setting to develop common goals and resourcing needs. I have managed (local and remote) teams of up to 15 employees.
