As the regional lead for impact finance at Advance Consulting based in Nairobi, Gideon advises investors and entrepreneurs across East, West, and Southern Africa to help get deals done and drive investment into SMEs in the agri-food, renewable energy, and circular economy sectors.

Among the engagements that Gideon has delivered to investors are fund strategy and performance evaluation, deal origination, due diligence, and valuation advisory. For entrepreneurs, he regularly carries out assignments covering investment readiness and capital raising, as well as strategic advisory.

Prior to joining Advance Consulting, Gideon co-founded and served as COO of a solar energy and rural distribution company in Odisha, India. He holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Economics, Management, and Finance from Bocconi University.
